Comcast Cares Day at Richmond Park
Make Change Happen!
EVERYONE IS INVITED!
Comcast Cares Day 2019 at Richmond Park
Friends of West Grand Neighborhood Organization, we want you to know that Comcast is committed to strengthening local communities. Comcast helps communities and local organizations like ours make change happen by volunteering time, offering financial support and engaging in other community service efforts. On Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Richmond Park, local Comcast employees, their families and non-profit community partners will “make change happen” as they participate in the company’s annual national company-wide day of service. Comcast Cares Day is Comcast/NBC Universal’s signature day of service and the nation’s largest single-day corporate volunteer effort.
This year the company expects more than 100,000 Comcast/NBC Universal volunteers to participate in over 1,000 projects across the country and around the globe. They will paint schools and community centers, plant trees and flowers, clean up parks, set up computer labs, package food for the hungry and much more. To date, volunteers have contributed over 6 million volunteer hours since Comcast Cares Day started in 2001. We are truly grateful for our partnership with Comcast during Comcast Cares Day, as it draws attention to the needs of our community and encourages others to get involved. West Grand Neighborhood Organization could use your support in making the local event in our community a success.
We’re asking you to please join us and volunteer to work side by side with the employees of Comcast as they reach out to lend a hand to West Grand Neighborhood Organization on May 4.
