FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
WGNO Launches New Website
“Thanks Give Camp Grand Rapids! From the West Grand Neighborhood!”
October 25, 2015 - Grand Rapids, MI – West Grand Neighborhood Organization (WGNO) (www.westgrand.org) announced today that it has completed a new website design project as part of its recent selection by Give Camp Grand Rapids. Robert Tolbert WGNO Executive Director said “First of all I want to thank all of the team from Give Camp! I am very impressed by the entire Give Camp process. Over the course of one weekend, we transformed our online image and improved our membership database capabilities. Our assigned team of Give Camp professionals executed flawlessly while we assisted by providing information on our organization and specific requirements. I stated in my original release regarding this grant that one of my immediate priorities in the first 90-Days will be to deliver tools that help the organization communicate with neighbors more effectively. I am pleased to deliver this result for my neighbors. Our new website is bi-lingual for our Spanish speaking neighbors and will allow for improved membership communication. Special thanks to Chi Benedict, our Interim Community Engagement Specialist for her participation as technology expert for WGNO during this event. All of the work she has contributed to our website over the years – even as a volunteer, has guided the way to the new website. Chi will continue to be the WGNO Webmaster!”
